Course Description

This semester-long course is delivered in the class called Web Design 1. It covers the skills and knowledge required to create a web page for use within the cultural industries. It provides students with the basic conceptual and technical skills to formulate and produce web design solutions utilising digital technologies.

Overview of Assessment

Assessment is based on two practice-based digital assignments involving creative responses to a brief. Students are required to design and execute a web-based product, demonstrating the skills covered in the course.    
Assignment 01 – worth 50% of the overall mark for this course.
Assignment 02 – worth 50% of the overall mark for this course.
