Course Description

This course is co-delivered with Apply Principles of Design in the class called Design 2. It builds upon the skills learnt in Design 1. In addition, it covers the skills and knowledge required to incorporate the principles of visual design and communication into the development of multimedia products.

Overview of Assessment

Assessment takes the form of two design-based digital assignments. Both involve creative responses to a brief with an emphasis on visual design and communication for screen-based products.   
Assignment 01 – worth 50% of the overall mark for this course.

Assignment 01: Game Proposal PDF<o:p></o:p>

Produce & publish a comprehensive game design document in PDF format. Please note, this is a joint assignment with Interactive Multimedia 2.  For full details, please refer to the assignment brief.
