Course Description
This unit covers the skills and knowledge to draw an accurate trade or technical drawing based on specifications and a design brief. This is a manual drawing class using primarily, pencil and fine line pen. You will be drawing garments and garment components from a variety of sources such as magazines and samples to Fashion Industry standards. As well as class activities you will be required to undertake research and assessment practice outside of regular class times. You are reminded of the learning expectation that you will complete an equal amount of research time outside of class as you do in class to further your understanding and to be deemed competent in this course.
