Course Description
This unit describes the knowledge and skills required to setup formal networks to benefit the organisation and clients
Pre-requisite Courses and Assumed Knowledge and Capabilities
Students must have at least five years of work experience in disability work and preferably currently working in a management role and be self- directed.

Overview of Assessment
A workplace assessment appointment will be undertaken to allow students to present and discuss workplace evidence: Based on the individual student’s knowledge, skills and experience: an individual learning plan will be negotiated and developed. Students may be offered a number of assessment tasks and learning strategies such as workshop attendance, case studies, research project work and workplace activities and support to meet their assessment needs for this course (unit of competency).
