The Unrealised Axiom is the culmination of the 2015 First Site Gallery Mentorship by RMIT student Tobias Brodel with chosen mentor and audio visual artist Robin Fox.

See how programming, composition, choreography, photography, video, sound and lighting design come together to equate sound with motion, colour with harmony and time with place.


The Unrealised Axiom exhibition runs at First Site Gallery from Tuesday 28 July to Sunday 9 August 2015:

  • Regular hours: Tuesday to Friday, 28 July to 7 August 2015, 11am–5pm
  • Opening night with live performance: Tuesday, 28 July 2015, 5.30 –7.30pm
  • Open Day: Sunday, 9 August 2015, 11am –5pm.


During the exhibition period, you can also participate in these two free workshops:

  • databending processes in photography and sound composition on Friday 31 July 2015 from 1.30–2.30pm
  • audio-visual programming technologies and techniques with Robin Fox on Friday 7 August 2015 from 1.30–2.30pm.
