The Wendy Royle Scholarship
If you are a first-year student in the RMIT Diploma of Interior Design and Decoration this scholarship could provide up to $1500 towards your expenses.
Value and duration
The scholarship is a one-off payment, presented to the winner at an award ceremony.
To be eligible for this scholarship you must be a first-year student in the RMIT Diploma of Interior Design and Decoration.
How to apply
You do not need to apply for this scholarship. The winner will be chosen by teaching staff in the Diploma of Interior Design and Decoration program. They will choose a student who:
- demonstrates outstanding leadership and enterprise
- behaves as an ambassador for the program and RMIT
- shows awareness and support of fellow students
- shows politeness and dignity
- has style
- shows strength of character in handling setbacks encountered throughout studies and life in general.
The scholarship is sponsored by James Marks of Radford Furnishings. Its purpose is to celebrate, perpetuate and commemorate the life and achievements of Wendy Royle and her unique and outstanding contribution to the design industry.
