“Robots of the world! The power of man has fallen… A new world has arisen: The rule of Robots!”

The latest production from RMIT Link Arts & Culture and ‘The Troupe’ hits Kaleide theatre this October, ‘R.U.R.’ – or Rossum's Universal Robots.

Instrumental in introducing the term ‘robot’ to both the English language and science fiction, R.U.R explores the consequences of the dehumanization of man through technology.

The performances will be held on Friday the 11 and Saturday 12 of October.
A play by Karel Capek and translated by Paul Selver & Nigel Playfair, R.U.R looks at what it means to be human.
