Details to provide in an emergency:

  • Ask for the emergency service required (e.g. Police, Fire, Ambulance, State Emergency Service)
  • The type of incident (fire, medical, explosion, assault, etc.)
  • The exact location of the emergency (e.g. address and campus)
  • Your name and contact number
  • If people are injured; how many people are injured
  • Nature of illness (if a medical emergency).
