Sleep at the ‘G

Help Melbourne City Mission raise $500,000 to battle youth homelessness by spending a night at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Event details

Sleep at the ‘G

5 pm to 8 am

Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) via Gate 2

Further details

Taste what more than 6000 homeless young people in Victoria experience every night. The admission you pay will provide you with a beanie, pillow, entertainment, dinner, breakfast and a cardboard box “mattress”. You are also welcome to bring your own sleeping bag, blanket, foam mattress or yoga mat.

Throughout the night, you will have plenty of opportunity to socialise and share your experience with the world using #SleepAtTheG. Mark Seymour from Hunters & Collectors will keep you entertained too.

This is a once-a-year opportunity to spend the night at one of Melbourne’s greatest landmarks while contributing to a great cause. Tickets are sold from $50.
