Safety Week (27-31 July)

Safety is important but it can sometimes be taken for granted. Come along to Safety Week, learn handy tips and check out the activities on offer.


Stilt police will be on patrol around the City campus.

Refresh your knowledge about safety at home and on campus as Safety Week hits RMIT.

Stilt police will be on patrol around the City campus to entertain and ensure that you’re aware of your surroundings while crossing the road.

Victoria Police will also be providing a free bike engraving service at both Brunswick and City campuses.

Members of the Melbourne Fire Brigade will show you how to be fire safe at home, especially in the kitchen - and how to ensure your smoke alarm is always working.

You can also chat with RMIT security staff about the ‘SafeZone’ smartphone app, which allows you to directly connect with security staff on campus at all times.
