Beller Commercial Nucara Family Scholarship

If you are enrolled full-time in the Bachelor of Applied Science (Property and Valuation) (Honours) (BH113) program and have relocated from a rural/regional area to study at RMIT, this scholarship can provide financial assistance.

Value and duration

The scholarship provides up to $2000. There is also an opportunity for paid work experience 2 days per week, for 4 weeks during November–December 2018 and/or June–July 2019.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • be an Australia citizen or an Australian permanent resident
  • be enrolled full-time in the standard semester 1 and 2 in the Bachelor of Applied Science (Property and Valuation) (Honours) (BH113) at RMIT in Semester 2, 2018 and Semester 1 2019
  • have relocated from a rural/regional area to study at RMIT
  • not have received the Nucara Family Award in previous years.

Terms and conditions

The successful candidate is expected to attend the Beller Commercial Industry and Research Awards Night on Thursday 18 October 2018 (5–9pm).

There is also an opportunity for paid work experience.

Further information

Fred Nucara, an alumni of the RMIT Property Bachelor Degree established the Nucara Family Award in 2008 to assist students who are required to move from a rural location to metropolitan Melbourne to study at RMIT University. Fred was raised in Cobram, on the Murray River. In 2016 the award has become a scholarship with the same criteria and also offers students an opportunity to gain some real world experience in Beller Commercial Real Estate where Fred is the Director and Business Owner. The Beller Commercial Team comprises 20 people that specialise in Property Management, Leasing and Sales of Commercial Property throughout Melbourne.

The scholarship application process is highly competitive with a limited number of scholarships available. Unfortunately, not all eligible applicants will receive one.

Only successful candidates will be notified by 30 September 2018 to their RMIT student email account. If you have not received an offer letter by 30 September 2018, your application has been unsuccessful.
