GS1 Australia Supply Chain Scholarship

If you are passionate about studying in the field of logistics or supply chain management, have achieved good results yet have been financially and/or educationally disadvantaged, then this scholarship can assist with your study costs.

Value and duration

The scholarship provides $7000 per year for up to four years.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • be an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or permanent humanitarian visa holder
  • be studying full-time in one of the following programs at RMIT University in 2019:
    • Bachelor of Business (Logistics and Supply Chain Management) (BP255)
    • Bachelor of Business (Logistics and Supply Chain Management) (Applied) (BP143)
  • be able to demonstrate financial and/or educational disadvantage such as:
    • being on a Government tested low income benefit or having a Centrelink Health Care Card
    • having a long term medical condition or disability which impacts your study
    • having difficult family circumstances
    • being born overseas and from a non-English speaking background
  • demonstrate your academic potential/merit; this includes your ATAR or grade point average (GPA).

The scholarship will be awarded on a merit and equity basis to support a student who can demonstrate high academic achievement and who is experiencing financial or educational disadvantage. Preference will be given to those from an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background however all students who meet the criteria are encouraged to apply.

The GS1 Australia Supply Chain Scholarship aims to support students undertaking studies in supply chain management as part of their undergraduate degree, in particular the Bachelor of Business (Logistics and Supply Chain Management). The Scholarship, which is merit and equity based, highlights GS1 Australia’s commitment to developing Australia’s future leaders in supply chain management and associated disciplines, and further strengthens the long standing relationship between GS1 Australia and the RMIT School of Business IT and Logistics.
