Accomplishments

Dedicated employee of RMIT – nearing 20 years’ service – roles including Teaching and Co-ordinating within the Associate Degree and Certificate IV in Fashion & Textiles Merchandising programs. Successfully transitioned students into the newly accredited programs and in addition to this assumed extra co-ordinating duties within the Diploma in Textiles Technology and Production ensuring the smooth phasing out of the program.

Work Placement Coordinator – Working with a number of industry representatives in placing 120 students each year into the TCF industry as part of the work placement program in the Associate Degree in Fashion & Textiles Merchandising program as well as negotiating internships.

Negotiated a 2013 Global Internship in Vietnam for two of our second year students to work with the manufacturing organization – Un-available Group.

Applied and received funding for as well as facilitated: Vietnam Study Tour 2012, as part of the Study Overseas Short-term Mobility Program. Vietnam Study Tour / Work placement 2011 as part of the Endeavour Scholarship Fund.

Planned, coordinated and facilitated a China Study Tour in 2007 for the Merchandising Program as part of an assessment task for the Diploma in Business (Frontline Management).
