RMIT teaching staff awarded for outstanding contributions

Three teaching staff in RMIT’s College of Business and the entire Chinese Medicine teaching team have been awarded citations by the Office for Learning and Teaching in the 2013 Australian Awards for University Teaching.

The awards recognise the significant contributions made by teaching staff and teams to enhancing student learning experiences and leading innovation in education. This year, industry-focused learning was a key theme of the awards.

The recipients of the awards were:

Professor Charlie Xue, Dr Tony Zhang, Dr Brian May, Dr George Binh Lenon, Dr Angela Weihong Yang, Dr Zhen Zheng, Dr William Lin, Suzi Mansu, Jing Cui and Lin Dong – Chinese Medicine teaching team

Dr Vanessa Cooper – School of Business IT and Logistics

Dr Ingo Karpen – School of Economics, Finance and Marketing

Lila Kemlo – Academic Development Group, Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Business)
