The Federal Department of Education provides a limited number of scholarships to all higher education institutions each year for students going overseas on exchange.
Global Mobility is responsible for bidding for this funding from the Federal Department of Education. Students cannot apply directly to the Department for these scholarships.
All students going on Exchange are automatically considered for a Federal Department of Education Award. Students who have applied for RMIT Student Mobility Grant and also selected for a Department of Education Award, would be awarded the Department of Education Award as it is a higher value.
