Levels 2 and 3 of RMIT’s Dental Hospital will be refurbished with stat-of-the-art teaching and learning facilities and staff accommodation.

Project overview

Levels 2 and 3 of RMIT’s Dental Hospital are being refurbished and state-of-the art teaching and learning facilities will be built for RMIT School of Life and Physical Science’s dental students.

Level 2 will contain:

  • 67 capacity lecture theatre with leading-edge AV facilities
  • 2 x 30-capacity flat-floor classrooms, custom designed for dental teaching purposes
  • Staff room
  • Record keeping room
  • Open, collaborative learning space

Level 3 will contain:

  • Kavo equipment laboratory
  • Computer laboratory
  • Dental chair laboratory

This project is funded by the Australian Government through the Teaching and Learning Capital Fund (TCLF) for Vocational Education and Training (VET).

The refurbishment of the RMIT Dental Hospital was completed at the end of June, 2010.
