#DoSomethingPhoto Contest

Do you volunteer in your local community? Let your passion known and win money for a good cause.

The competition

If you want to inspire others and empower change in your community, simply share your passion through a photo that illustrates community volunteering. This is your opportunity to bring volunteering activities in your local community to a national platform.

To be eligible, your photo must be:

• taken in and relevant to community volunteering in Australia

• taken by the person submitting the photo

• submitted in JPEG, GIF or PNG format

• free from depictions of offensive, abusive, inappropriate and illegal activities.

This competition is launched by the Do Something Near You initiative that encourages Australians to volunteer in their local communities.

Prizes

The photo with the most public votes will win:

• DSLR camera

• $200 donation to charity of choice

• certificate of accomplishment

• a feature on Do Something Near You homepage, newsletter and social media.

Four runners-up will win:

• compact digital camera

• $50 donation to charity of choice

• certificate of accomplishment

• a feature on Do Something Near You side banner and social media.

Dates

Submissions close on 31 May 2014.

Public voting will take place from 2 to 30 June 2014.

Winners will be announced in July 2014.
