Give acting a shot

Help someone with your acting ability in a silent short film.

A number of volunteer actors are required for the following roles in a VCE short film project:

• main character – female, 17 to 19 years old, wide eyes, innocent looking, long blonde hair, preferably small or short

• mother – 35 to 50 years old, warm smile, preferably blonde hair

• primary schoolboy – 7 to 11 years old, short, clumsy, beautiful smile

• quirky schoolgirl – 17 to 19 years old, memorable face, preferably dark hair

• best friend – 17 to 19 years old, long brown hair, able to cry on cue

• female relative – 35 to 50 years old, large intriguing eyes, preferably pale skinned

• sister – slightly older than main character, blonde hair, able to cry on cue

• homeless man – 40 to 60 years old, bearded or stubble, large build, scary looking

• male friend – 17 to 21 years old, preferably six feet tall, intriguing eyes, brown hair.

Apart from showing emotion, actors will not be required to learn any dialogue. Filming will take place in and around the Mornington Peninsula.
