Urban Ecology symposium

You are invited to join international urban ecology specialists and national thought leaders to address the growing need to enhance livability, encourage biodiversity and reduce impact on the natural environment.

Australian cities will experience significant population growth in the coming decades. This will lead to increased pressure on our ecosystems, resources and human well-being in the built environment. However, through urban ecology, it is possible to address these pressures so that we can better plan, design and manage our future.

Running over three days beginning Monday 30 March, this symposium will expose you to urban ecology solutions; provide opportunities for you to participate in master classes and conduct off-site guided tours of businesses demonstrating best and next practice and innovation.

If you are interested in the future of our cities, Urban Ecology symposium will open your eyes to innovation, as well as challenge you to devise practice solutions.
