Love Australia, eh? Show us your version of Australia and win exciting prizes.

Attention Canadian students, start capturing your time in Australia in video clips to win a film festival pass and other prizes.

The competition

Having a blast studying in Australia? Share your experience with others by showcasing anything Australian – landscape, wildlife, food, sports, events and more – through video clips.

Simply record a ‘video selfie’ and submit it to the Canadian Down Under competition. You can speak in English, French or any other languages spoken in Canada. In addition, you can submit up to ten video clips.

The best clips will be featured at the Possible Worlds Film Festival in Sydney and Canberra this August.

The Canadian Down Under competition is brought to you by Possible Worlds Film Festival, International Experience Canada and the Consulate General of Canada in Sydney.


• a double VIP pass to the Possible Worlds Film Festival in Sydney, a 10-night accommodation and membership to YHA Australia for two (grand prize)

• ten $150 travel vouchers from Working Holiday Club (best footage prizes)


Submissions close on 30 June 2014.

The winners will be announced on 21 July 2014.
