Tertiary teaching practice

Enhance your practice and teach the RMIT way.

Professional Development for Tertiary Teaching Practice (PDTTP) is designed to build upon educators' knowledge, experience and expertise, utilise existing technologies, and align teaching practice to the RMIT Ready for Life and Work: Shaping RMIT to 2020 strategy and policies and procedures.

Developed with a flexible delivery mode, the professional development modules and resources are designed for academic and teaching staff at different phases of their career:

  • Essentials: Academic and teaching staff new to RMIT
  • Sessionals: Sessional academics and teachers

The PDTTP programs also offer clearly defined articulation pathways for academic and teaching staff, allowing them to gain credit and utilise RPL towards formal qualifications.
