SEH Women in Engineering Scholarship

If you are female and commencing a Bachelor of Engineering in 2018, this scholarship could provide financial assistance for the standard duration of your program.

Value and duration

This scholarship provides $5000 per year for up to four years.

Number of scholarships available

Thirty.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • be female
  • be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, Australian permanent resident or permanent humanitarian visa holder
  • be commencing a Bachelor of Engineering program at RMIT in 2018
  • be enrolled full-time for the duration of your studies
  • have completed year 12 or equivalent in Australia in 2017
  • achieve an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) of 85 or higher (students undertaking a double degree program must achieve an ATAR of 90 or above).

All students who have applied for a Bachelor of Engineering program at RMIT via VTAC in 2017 will be considered once ATAR results and program offers have been released.

The scholarship application process is highly competitive with a limited number of scholarships available. Unfortunately, not all eligible applicants will receive one.

Successful candidates will be notified via their RMIT student email account by 31 March 2018. Only successful candidates will be contacted. If you have not received an offer by 31 March 2018, your application has been unsuccessful.
