A study tour that combines travel and sustainability

Like to travel? Concerned about our planet? Want to be part of the change but need inspiration?

Look no further!

The Sustainability Urban Technologies study tour takes you to Germany where over two weeks you will investigate the fundamental aspects of sustainability and develop ideas to adapt city areas to meet the challenges of the future.

This special elective is planned for 17–26 March 2014, which will have you traveling throughout regional Germany and Berlin. Not only will you gain 12 credit points towards your degree but you will observe first-hand world leading sustainable technologies and urban ecology.

The study tour is open to all students from both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. There is no formal exam but you will be assessed by a report submitted later in semester 1 on a sustainability topic of your choice.

Applications close 4 February 2014.
