Marketing students campaigning ‘For Life’

The Master of Marketing students are unleashing their creativity through an industry partnership.

The Master of Marketing students are currently working on the interactive ‘For Life’ campaigns to promote miPlan, a Geelong-based insurance company. Over the course of four weeks, the students are required to create Facebook advertisements, television commercials and grassroots marketing.

miPlan’s CEO Stephen Handley commends the students on their work. “I want to thank the students for all the work they’re doing on the campaign. The flow of creative ideas is incredible. The quality of the presentations demonstrates how much time and energy has been invested in the project thus far.” Dr Angela Dobele and Dr Kevin Argus from RMIT are also enjoying the progress of the campaigns as they evolve.

“It is highly competitive for organisations to gain partnership with our course,” says Dr Argus on RMIT’s industry partnerships, which provide students with the opportunity to work with real organisations as part of their study experience. Other industry partners include Pacific Brands, Cancer Council Victoria and BONDS.
