Library research skills training

Our training helps students to incrementally develop the research skills that they need to succeed in their study, and to become lifelong learners.

Students can attend orientation sessions, sign up for general, face-to-face training or follow self-paced tutorials.

Liaison Librarians can also tailor research skills sessions to the needs of your students, often around an assessment item. These sessions can be delivered in class, online, or through additional sign-up sessions.

Liaison Librarians can also work with you to embed research skills into your program curriculum to meet course learning outcomes and address RMIT’s Graduate Attributes. Once sessions become part of the curriculum, we can then help you plan and review their effectiveness.

Liaison Librarians are available to discuss this with you.
