Work responsibilities

The Manager, Marketing is responsible for the development and implementation of marketing and associated services for RMIT Business and its Schools which support the College’s strategic objectives.

The Manager

  • provides advice to the executive team on appropriate marketing strategies for RMIT Business
  • is responsible for the effective management of College publications, marketing collateral, and the successful planning and management of events on behalf of College clients or stakeholders
  • provides strategic support and advice to schools or individuals requiring integration of brand or marketing policy
  • collaborates with stakeholders in the provision of effective web marketing advice and implementation, and assists in the management of the College’s marketing, public relations and web functions and resources
  • collaborates with stakeholders to review, develop and implement policies and procedures relating to the College’s transnational activities and manages the promotion of mobility opportunities for all eligible RMIT Business students

It is the responsibility of staff in the M&BD Unit to ensure the currency of marketing information on the digital display screens and ticker-tape display in Building 80 and to conduct event/campaign evaluation and feedback, and participate in strategic marketing planning.
