What’s in your backyard?

The City of Melbourne is conducting a survey of the species living in our city, from miniscule plant life to the mighty powerful owl and they need your help.

Over two weeks from 31 October to 15 November 2014, they’ll be running more than 50 guided BioBlitz events in various locations around the city led by some of Melbourne’s best biodiversity experts and ecologists.

Take part either by conducting your own independent survey within the City of Melbourne’s municipality by sharing images using #bioblitzmelb or by joining a guided BioBlitz event with experts in locations around the city.

Help discover the diverse animal and plant species that call our city home.
