Internships to Indonesia
Here’s your chance to undertake an internship program in Indonesia and receive credit towards your degree.
Working with the College of Business and our Global Mobility team, International Internships is facilitating an internship group that will have you completing a three-week internship in your discipline area in the bustling metropolis of Jakarta.
The ‘Internships + Immersion’ program is for undergraduate students from first to third year enrolled in Business, Global Urban and Social Science (GUSS), and Media and Communications. Running over four weeks from 13 November to 10 December 2016, you will spend one week in Yogyakarta and three weeks in Jakarta.
By undertaking the internship, not only will you receive credit towards your degree but outside of your work hours, you will be taken on business, NGO and government visits, networking events and capacity-building workshops to help you build your professional skill set.
Prior to the start of your internship, you will spend a week in Yogyakarta, the cultural capital of Indonesia. This program will give you an in-depth and balanced insight into working in the Asia-Pacific, as well as developing your professional skills and connections, even in four short weeks.
Indonesia is a country in a rapid state of change. It has had very strong economic growth in recent times and has experienced both the benefits and challenges that come with such growth. With a fun and unique culture and being not too far from home, Indonesia has much to offer an interested intern!
