Process and conditions for the RMIT Vietnam Program Development Fund.

Process

Applicants applying for the 2017 RMIT Vietnam Program Development Fund (RVPDF) must complete and submit the following templates:

Programs supported by RMIT Vietnam, the school and college

  • The proposal must be supported by RMIT Vietnam, the school and college with all signatures on the signature page
  • The signed proposal is to be submitted to the relevant college office in Melbourne by Friday 11 November 2016 or a date determined by each college
  • Each college and RMIT Vietnam will discuss the proposals that belong to their program areas and rank in priority order
  • Each college will submit the proposals and ranking to teachingawardsandgrants@rmit.edu.au by Friday 25 November 2016.

Programs only offered in RMIT Vietnam and supported by RMIT Vietnam and the college PVC

  • The proposal must be supported by RMIT Vietnam and the college PVC
  • All signatures on the Signature Page are required except the signatures of the Head of School and School Finance Manager
  • RMIT Vietnam is to submit the proposals and ranking to teachingawardsandgrants@rmit.edu.au by Friday 25 November 2016.

A committee of the Deputy PVCs Learning and Teaching, Vice President Academic RMIT Vietnam, and the Dean Learning and Teaching will make a recommendation to the Acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) to approve which proposals will be funded. Applicants will be advised of the outcome by Friday 23 December 2016.

Conditions of accepting an RMIT Vietnam Program Development Fund grant

Successful applicants will be required to:

  • Provide an Interim Report to the RMIT Vietnam Academic Development Committee and the Office of Dean Learning and Teaching by 7 July 2017 (a template will be provided)
  • Provide a detailed Final Report to the RMIT Vietnam Academic Development Committee and the Office of Dean Learning and Teaching by 9 February 2018 (a template will be provided)
  • Meet all budget requirements or return any unused funds.
