Accessing files remotely
Remote file access services provide simple, internet-based access to files stored on RMIT file servers via a standard web browser.
Files can be copied and moved between the internet-based computer and the RMIT network. Files can also be renamed, deleted, read and modified on the RMIT file servers.
Access to remote file access services is available seven days a week but is subject to RMIT maintenance schedules and security policies.

Studying off campus
RMIT offers a range of a services and applications to help you study when you're not on campus. These include the Google Apps online collaboration tools such as Drive, Sites and Chat which are available to you when you log in to your RMIT Google Apps account, from any browser, anywhere in the world.
All RMIT staff and students have access to the free wireless network when on or close to campus. The network enables access to your Google Apps account, including email, as well as for students, it provides access to myRMIT, Enrolment Online, and the Library's catalogue among others.
