Overview

Iren Citler is a sessional teacher with the School of Global, Urban and Social Studies.

Iren teaches in the Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD), Youth and Justice programs in the Certificate IV, Diploma and Higher Education (HE) level.

Industry experience

Iren’s career began in Forensic Psychotherapy at HM Holloway in London working with women and young offenders.

This was followed by a move to Australia continuing in AOD services as Dual Diagnostic Coordinator working with a vast array of services re-educating and up-skilling both Alcohol and Other Drugs and Mental Health cohorts.

Training soon overtook the counselling component leading to Iren’s current role in RMIT.
