Research Office Service Charter
The Research Office provides services to academic staff, Higher Degree by Research candidates, research support staff and the University’s academic leadership to support RMIT’s research strategy and goals.
We aim to provide timely, high quality service to enable the research efforts of the University. Services are reviewed annually as part of the Research Office’s continuous improvement plan. Feedback on how these services can be improved is welcome and can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org - please include ‘Service Charter’ in the subject line.
Services provided by the Research Office relate to:
Research innovation and entrepreneurship
Facilitating productive research innovation and entrepreneurship with internal and external collaborators.
Communicate research funding opportunities, oversee application and submission processes.
Manage research funding acceptance processes, milestones and internal orders.
Manage the negotiation and preparation of research contracts.
Coordinate research-related professional development programs, networks and forums.
Research integrity and governance
Coordinate Human, Animal and Gene Modification Ethics and research integrity.
