Single sign-on update
Information Technology Services is continuing to upgrade RMIT’s web-based applications with single sign-on capability.
This requires the introduction of Central Authentication Service (CAS): single sign-on infrastructure for web-based applications. Once fully implemented across all applications CAS will allow authorised users to access multiple applications after entering their user ID (student or staff number) and password only once.
The myRMIT portal is the next application scheduled to be migrated, which will be on Saturday, 3 December.
Important note: After you authenticate with RMIT CAS, you will not be prompted to re-enter your password, unless:
- your authentication has timed out; or
- the application has not yet been upgraded
Further updates to applications are scheduled for November and December. Updates will be provided.
