Join our fun ukulele short course at the Bundoora campus available to all RMIT students. Over the course of eight weeks you will learn all the basics to get the most out of your instrument. The total beginner class is for those who have never played the ukulele before. You will learn how to hold and tune your ukulele, as well as play simple chords and easy songs.

The continuing beginner class is for those who were in our semester 1 course, or for those who have played ukulele before. You will learn new chords and more songs.

Ukuleles will not be provided but you can purchase one through the Campus Store during the first class for $26. Please indicate in the online registration form whether you will need to purchase a ukulele.

How to book

Classes are free to RMIT students and run on Wednesday’s from 29 July to 23 September – you can join the course anytime up to 19 August – book now to secure your place.

Choose between two classes:

Book now: Total beginner class

Book now: Continuing beginner class

Non-RMIT student

Non-RMIT students and RMIT staff can join the total beginner class for a fee of $100.
