Join the ACYA VIC BLC committee!

The Australia-China Youth Association Victoria Bilingual Language (ACYA VIC BLC) is recruiting for committee members to join them in promoting cultural integration and language acquisition in 2016.

ACYA is apolitical not-for-profit that works to actively foster a transnational community of young Australians and Chinese interested in further understanding each other's countries. With a primary focus on secondary school students, university students, and early career professionals, ACYA’s objectives are to facilitate and develop lasting bilateral friendships, partnerships and opportunities across a variety of social sectors, including but not limited to: business, academia, government, sport and the arts.

With many events held annually across Australia and China, unique internship, study, and volunteer opportunities, a diverse range of publications, and over 5000 members, ACYA consider itself as the first port of call for anyone interested in Australia and China.

As a committee member, you will:

  • gain event management and volunteering experience with a reputable not-for-profit organisation
  • event management experience
  • be exposed to networking opportunities
  • attend fun social events
  • develop friends for life from different universities across Victoria who have a similar passion of all things culture and language-related

To apply for committee position, you must be a tertiary student of any level (Undergraduate/ Postgraduate) studying at a Victorian University and is either bilingual (English and Chinese) or learning Chinese/ English or just have a love for Chinese and Australian culture!
