Teaching activities

As a teacher, I make mathematics learning fun, relevant and meaningful for Engineering students. I use a variety of innovative techniques and technologies to create a positive, caring and stimulating learning environment where students can achieve their full potential. In recent years I have been teaching the following Engineering Mathematics courses

Research activities

I am an applied mathematician and teacher interested in the development and application of mathematical methods to problems arising in the engineering/physical sciences, especially in the fields of fluid mechanics, non-linear hyperbolic systems, compressible flows, shock waves, flow through porous media and thermodynamics which includes many engineering problems.
