      Project overview

The new Pharmacy Facility supports the new Bachelor of Pharmacy programme at RMIT. It provides space for 108 students in two purpose build rooms.

In only 13 weeks, the design, consultation and construction was completed. The pharmacy facility needed to be ready for the first semester of 2011.

Several sustainable features are included in the pharmacy facility. It has 100% recyclable certified chairs, low VOC (Volatile Organic Chemicals) paint, high efficiency light fittings that are controlled by motion detection, and Greenguard certified indoor air quality.

The facility has also been fitted with the latest technological features. Interactive whiteboards allow for the exchange of information between working groups. New audio and video capabilities will capture student participation.

The Pharmacy is also equipped with a mock dispensing counter and consultation rooms.
