Course Description
The purpose of the tour is to introduce property related issues in a New Zealand or Pacific Island setting.
Students will be responsible for the associated travel, accommodation, transport, meals and incidental costs. A group booking will be made for the flights, bus transfer and accommodation (twin share room). Payment will need to be received 6 weeks prior to travel, and once paid are subject to substantial cancellation fees imposed by the Travel Agent and the hotel. Details of the cancellation fees can be obtained from the Course Co-ordinator or travel agent.
Objectives/Learning Outcomes/Capability Development
At the completion of this course students will be able to understand and apply knowledge from a Property perspective to issues that face a community that is impacted by a natural disaster.
This course will give students exposure to various property specific issues in other countries, including development, asset maangement, valuation and planning.
