Course Description

This course provides you with an introduction to developing content for the mobile environment. You will develop knowledge and skills across a range of mobile technologies for the analysis and the development of concept and content.

A feature of this course is that you will use mobile technologies as the vehicle for your learning as you develop your knowledge and skills in this field.

Course Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to:

  1. Describe and analyse the variations within media across mobile platforms.
  2. Discuss the strengths and weaknesses of various mobile platforms and apply this knowledge in the development of content and concepts.
  3. Create content incorporating image, text and video for the mobile environment.
  4. Identify and evaluate opportunities for future development in the mobile environment.

This is an elective, which will complement the learning outcomes you are developing in your program.
