Course Description
In this course you will develop strategies to enhance the skills and confidence to participate effectively in the community. It focuses on helping you to identify personal skills, develop self-confidence, demonstrate socially responsible behaviour, and develop interpersonal, independent living and problem-solving skills.

Details of Learning Activities
You will be involved in learning activities which will be timetabled for a particular time each week for the duration of the year.
Learning activities will take place in the classroom, with workshops in the computer laboratory. There will be time-tabled fieldwork activities.

You will have teacher-support for all assessment activities.
For the assessment activities, you will have the opportunity to present your work to the teacher in parts, for appraisal, before final submission. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and do the task orally if needed.
