Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this course you will have developed the following skills:
- communication skills to participate in planning process to investigate adult options, contribute to a discussion relevent to own goals and needs, and participate in interactions to determine adult options information
- problem solving skills to identify own goals, match them to course goals and develop a personal action plan
- self management skills to seek feedback and monitor and adjust action plan and to identify personal needs to participate in the course
- planning and organisation skills to meet with a support person to develop a portfolio and resumes and review regularly

Details of Learning Activities
In this course you will explore realistic options for future involvement in further training, work or community activities. Possible options for the you may include: paid employment, further training, voluntary work or recreational/leisure activities.
The purpose of this course is to provide opportunities for you to move into an adult environment and identify realistic options for them to pursue, as well as develop a resume and portfolio to support their goals.
Teaching Schedule
You will be provided with a comprehensive workshop schedule at your first class in February that will highlight the different days of the week and the classes that are scheduled for this course.
