Course Description
In this course you will develop the skills and knowledge to operate more effectively and independently in the community by applying communication skills to meet everyday needs. It focuses on helping you to develop communication skills appropriate to a range of relationships and situations, including a focus on electronic communication modes.

Learning Outcomes

Details of Learning Activities
You will be involved in learning activities which will be timetabled for a particular time each week for the duration of the course.
Learning activities will take place in the classroom, with workshops in the computer laboratory. There will be timetabled excursion activities.

It is expected the course will be offered Wednesday afternoons from 1.30pm-4.00pm
You will be provided with a comprehensive workshop schedule at your first class in July that will highlight the different days of the week and the classes that are scheduled for this course.
