In this course students will learn to breakdown a script for the purpose of preparing and distributing a call sheet.

Overview of Assessment
Students are required to complete the following three pre-production tasks:
1. Breakdown a script and itemise – locations depicted, times of day or night, characters, essential props, continuity issues, safety issues, potential special effects requirements, and the screen time of each scene. 30%
2. Create a shot list and shooting schedule that makes the most efficient and economic use of production time and resources. 30%
3. Create Call sheets based on analysis carried out in previous two tasks using guidelines provided in class. 40%
