Course Description
This course specifies the outcomes required of frontline managers to promote teamwork. It involves developing team plans to meet expected outcomes, leading the work team, and proactively working with the management of the organisation.

At the successful completion of this competency, students will have demonstrated competency in the elements that make up this unit.
Overview of Assessment
Assessment
Students are required to attempt all assessments and be rated as competent against all performance criteria to pass the course. Assessment methods have been designed to measure achievement of each competency in a flexible manner over a range of assessment tasks. Assessment will incorporate a variety of methods including in class exercises, written tests, presentations and projects working as teams and individuals. Students will be assessed directly against a mixture of the elements and performance criteria that comprise the competency. Students are advised that they are likely to be asked to personally demonstrate their assessment work to their teacher to ensure that the relevant competency standards are being met.
Grading
All assessments are graded. To pass the course, students must have a minimum Pass grade in each assessment and achieve competency in all course elements
