Course Description

This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance. The first aid skills can be applied in a range of different settings including community and specific workplace settings. The students will be required to address physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech pathology requirements and address specific risks and hazards related to that industry.
