Course Description

This course covers the skills and knowledge to use a range of electronic design programs and equipment such as software programs and computing technology.

Details of Learning Activities

The learning activities will be practical experiences and activities using Illustrator and Photoshop. Each week class assignments will be completed and submitted electronically to evaluate performance.

In this course assessments will take place through practical activities and demonstrations.


Assessment Tasks

Students will be assessed through a practical quiz  worth 100% demonstrating the following:

Students will be required to create a technical correct sketch to industry standards and apply component details.

Students will also be required to use the swatch and brushes tools in Illustrator to represent garment details.

Students will also be required to use Photoshop to manipulate images for mood boards and presentations.
