Overview of Assessment

This unit forms a major part of the practical placement component of this qualification. Assessment is undertaken within the work environment. Students are required to assess their own level of competency during their placement period which is then discussed and confirmed with their workplace supervisor and placement coordinator.


Assessment Tasks

This unit will be assessed on-the-job during your practical placement.

To be deemed competent you must successfully complete an assessment task requiring you to demonstrate an understanding of how an agency works with its clients to assess their needs and provide effective support in a holistic way.

Task length: 300 - 500 words
