Course Description

This course describes the knowledge of edging and fitting of spectacle lenses and specialised techniques, treatments and processes to finish and/or repair spectacle frames and lenses.
It includes skills in dispensing the best form lenses and ordering from laboratories.

This course must be assessed after successful achievement of pre-requisites:
• HLTOPD401C Work effectively in the ophthalmic industry

This course is delivered concurrently with the following course:
