Course Description

In the Live Production industry, much of the work is carried out in teams. In this course you will develop the skills and knowledge required to promote teamwork amongst the people you work with or supervise. It involves developing team plans to meet expected outcomes, leading the work team, and proactively working with the management of the organisation.

This unit is delivered and assessed with CUAVSS401 Operate complex vision systems and BSBCRT402A Collaborate in a creative process.

Overview of Assessment

 Assessment for this course will involve demonstration of practical tasks and testing of underpinning theory knowledge.


Assessment Tasks

This unit is assessed with Operate Complex Vision Systems and BSBWHS404A and BSBCRT402A Collaborate in a creative process. To demonstrate competency in this course you will need to complete the following assessments to a satisfactory standard.

Assessment Task 1: Production work in class

Demonstrate techniques in working with team dynamics, establishing and maintaining group and organisational goals, using effective communication and conflict resolution within the group. This will be assessed through evidence of your team plan, verbal questioning and direct observation while working on the Vision System PRAC A (in May).You will be assessed individually through direct observation and oral questioning during and after the assessment.

This assessment will occur in class 9 or 10 with verbal feedback given in class 11.

Assessment Task 2: Teamwork Reflection

Review the Team Plan of the first Production (PRAC A) including details of how the plan was developed,how it was monitored and how successful this was for the team performance) and review the feedback provided to you via your team members, as well as your own performance. This review will be compeleted using a set of questions in Blackboard.

This assessment will occur in class 9 or 10 with verbal feedback given in class 11.
