Course Description
This course describes the skills and knowledge required to work respectfully with people from diverse social and cultural groups and situations, including Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people.
This course applies to all workers and includes a Work Integrated Learning experience in which your knowledge and skills will be applied and assessed in a real or simulated workplace context and where feedback from industry
and/or community is integral to your experience.

Overview of Assessment
Assessment Tasks-
You must demonstrate Performance and Knowledge Evidence of the unit in order to be deemed competent.
Assessment methods have been designed to measure achievement of each competency in a flexible manner over a range of assessment tasks.
Assessment Task 1: Client interaction
Assessment Task 2: Client interaction
Assessment Task 3: Client interaction
Assessment Task 4: Case studies.
Competency based training requires you to be in attendance in order for assessment to be undertaken.
Feedback will be provided throughout the semester in class and/or online discussions.
